India’s Domestic Season To ‘Tentatively’ Start From January 1

On Saturday (October 17), BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said that the domestic cricket season in India will begin” tentatively “on January 1, 2021. After the Apex Council meeting, Ganguly told a leading sports website: “We had comprehensive discussions on domestic cricket and we tentatively agreed to launch the competitions on January 1, 2021.”Ganguly was optimistic that an unhindered Ranji Trophy season could be carried out, even though it would be difficult for the board to accommodate all the domestic competitions this season because of the prevalent pandemic.
