Dean Elgar is eager to become the next South African Test Captain as next Test Captain as a question of who would gain traction to succeed Faf du Plessis. Elgar, who turns 33 next month, put his hand up in a Monday-released interview with Cricket South Africa (CSA) and joins Aiden Markram on the list of Players who spoke in Quinton de Kock were supposed to take over from Du Plessis, who succeeded him as captain of the small South African teams, but CSA said they didn’t want to.
