Steven Smith has ruled out appearing in the Big Bash League for the Sydney Sixers over increasing concerns about the burnout of players within prolonged biosecure bubbles. As part of a promotional campaign for a brand for the Rajasthan Royals, Smith said from his Dubai bubble in an interview with a leading news website; “It’s still early days with the bubbles. We don’t know how long it’s going to last. There’s a confusion there. It’s only going to be about having open talks with coaches, general managers, whoever, to make sure people keep their concern.
