The Paytm an e-commerce payment system and a digital wallet company, have retained its sponsorship rights of international and domestic cricket in the country. The BCCI has announced on August 21, that Paytm will be the sponsor for the next four years.
Paytm on their first sponsorship for India has made a payment of INR. 203.28 Crores in 2015 and now it will pay the board INR. 326.80 Crores in the next four years. The winning bid was ₹ 3.80 crores per match which is at 58% incremental value in comparison to the previous per match value of ₹2.4 crores.

The new rights deal will come into the picture from South African cricket teams tour of India, which has three T20 International and three Tests, starting on September 15.
