Pakistan cricketer Imam-ul-Haq has landed himself in the controversy after a Twitter user accused him of cheating and having affairs with multiple girls. The user leaked the Pakistan opener’s social media chats with several girls, also alleging that the cricketer cheated on them.
“So apparently Mr. @ImamUlHaq12 was dating 7 to 8 (that we know of) women and kept using them and manipulating them. He kept telling them the whole time how he’s single. Some of the screenshots attached from girl 1,” – a Twitter user wrote attachment of his chat.
“Since when dating or not marrying someone you promised became a part of #Metoo. I can’t see #Imamulhaq harassing or asking for pictures. Stop misusing this to defame someone when it’s consensual. It’ll lose worth & actual victim won’t get help! How this comes under #metoo,” – another Twitter user wrote.
Imam-ul-Haq was the opener in the innings for the Men in Green in the recently-concluded ICC World Cup 2019 and scored a century against Bangladesh. Pakistan has won the match against Bangladesh with 94 runs in their last World Cup group match but couldn’t place itself in the semi-finals.
Pakistan had a slow start to their World Cup Campaign just winning one out of five matches but finally, they made themselves to stand in the fifth position in the points table.
