After Ben Stokes solo match-winning knock against Australia in the third Ashes Test has left Aussies heartbroken. Stokes added an unbeaten 76-run stand with Jack Leach for the last wicket, which has turned England to the victory. Even when Australia got a chance to dismiss both the batsmen, they couldn’t make it.

Stokes wide deliveries went for boundaries has helped England when they are in need of around 40 runs from the winning score. Marcus Harris dived out to get hold of the ball but unfortunately, it came out of his hands after he fell on the ground. Later, when the hosts needed only two runs to win, Stokes hit a reverse sweep which went straight to the fielder.

At the time, When Jack Leach reached the striker’s end, Pat Cummins fielded the ball and threw it to Nathan Lyon to make it an easy run-out. But Lyon couldn’t collect the ball and lost a great chance to secure the Ashes.

Lyon felt bad for missing the greatest opportunity which was nearer to a winning match. The former England cricketer Matt Prior took to twitter and went on to advise the cricketer to sleep well after the loss.

The former Australian bowler Shane Warne gave a reply to Matt Prior tweet saying that his behavior was pretty immature and also recalled how Lyon troubled him during his playing days. Warne also suggested him to not make such ‘stupid’ comments and enjoy the beauty of Test cricket and the Ashes.

The exchange of talks between Matt Prior and the former Australian bowler got heated up with the entry of club cricketer from England Chris Adams in their mid-way. Chris Adams went out to support Matt Prior when he tweeted that the Aussies are good in giving but not that great in taking it.

Shane Warne was furious at Adams as well stating that no one cares about his opinion as he’s just a club cricketer. Chris Adams too responded to Warne’s tweet in a witty manner.

Later, Matt Prior wrote a long tweet mentioning that everyone should celebrate Test cricket and Ben Stokes. He also felt that there is no need to make such comments while terming Matt Prior and Chris Adams’ action as childish and immature.
