New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is taking the world by storm with his scintillating batting knocks day-in and day-out. The calm and collected 30-year-old cricketer looks invincible with a bat in his hand. Kane Williamson racked up a decisive ton against Pakistan in the second Test at Christchurch. Williamson claimed his 24th Test century and also became the first centurion of 2021 with this feat.

Kane Williamson’s poised knock of 112 runs off 175 balls helped New Zealand reach a total of 286 at the end of Day 2. The hosts currently trail by only 11 runs with 7 wickets in hand against Pakistan. Kane Williamson cemented a solid fourth-wicket partnership of 215 runs with Henry Nicholls to get New Zealand out of turmoil. New Zealand lost three early wickets as they succumbed to the pressure applied by the lethal Pakistani bowlers. However, Williamson’s brilliance helped the Kiwis end Day 2 on a high note.
