New Zealand A to tour India in August-September, Australia in November

When is the New Zealand Tour Of India And Australia?

Early in September, the BCCI plans to resume its India A program with visits from New Zealand and perhaps Australia. It will be led by VVS Laxman and his NCA support staff team, which also includes Sitanshu Kotak and Sairaj Bahutule. Here in this article, we talk about the New Zealand Tour Of India And Australia.

According to information obtained by ESPNcricinfo, New Zealand A will go to India before the end of August for three four-day matches and the same number of List A games, all of which are expected to take place in Bengaluru. A formal approval is still pending, but the BCCI is considering the prospect of a pink-ball match during the series.

On their previous tour to India in 2017–18, New Zealand A participated in a pink-ball match. Despite using the pink ball, that match in Vijayawada was a daytime event. The game in the forthcoming series will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium if it is to go forward next month.

The Duleep Trophy, the opening match of India’s domestic calendar for the 2022–23 season, is anticipated to coincide with the New Zealand tour. The six-team event will be played in Chennai and Coimbatore between September 8 and 25.

India A’s first assignment since their trip to South Africa at the end of last year, right before the national team’s three-Test series in December, will be a home series against New Zealand.

A tour with Cricket Australia is reportedly being negotiated by the BCCI and Cricket Australia for the latter part of the year, most likely in November, before the commencement of the Ranji Trophy and India’s upcoming Test match in Bangladesh.

The World Test Championship (WTC) assignment for India will be the two-Test trip of Bangladesh. In February and March, they will host Australia for a four-test series to conclude the current WTC.

The series will provide a great opportunity for players playing domestic cricket as it will give more players for selectors to choose from for different tours given that a lot of cricket is set to be played in the coming years.
