A few days after choosing MS Dhoni in his most popular ODI XI, former Indian pacer S Sreesanth commended MS Dhoni and said he would love to play for the country. Sreesanth, who made his debut in 2005, has been a lot involved with Dhoni in different matches and has also been part of the World Cup-winning teams 2007 T20 and 2011. Under the former Indian skipper, Sreesanth also played his final Test, ODI, and T20I. He was ready for the 2012-13 season to come back to the squad, where he was able to play again under Dhoni.

Dhoni Could Be Back In The National Side On The Basis Of Performances In IPL:

Dhoni has been on a self-imposed sabbatical since July 2019 in the former Indian skipper’s chair – the latest time he played the 2019 New Zealand Cup semi-final. After the ICC event, the 38-year-old took a break and has remained out of action since.

 Dhoni has been reported to be back in the T20 League, but the match has been postponed two times, due to the coronavirus pandemic, after he entered Chennai Super Kings‘ training session.

Dhoni may be back at the domestic side based on results in IPL, but he has not retired from the game. In his absence, KL Rahul, who made his debut under Dhoni, does the white-ball cricket work.
