During the first game of India against South Africa, MS Dhoni has spotted wearing the gloves having the Balidan Badge or army symbol on it. According to the ICC rules and regulations they are not allowed to wear any kind of political, religious and racial symbols on their clothing or equipment during an international match. So, ICC has requested BCCI to make sure that MS Dhoni removes those wicket-keeping gloves.

Claire Furlong, ICC General Manager, asked BCCI to remove the army symbolic gloves put on by MS Dhoni. “We have requested the BCCI to get it removed,” Claire Furlong said.

But the fans of MS Dhoni are protesting against the statement put by the ICC to the BCCI.

They feel like it is the symbol showing the pride of our country and the symbol on the gloves should be put on by MS Dhoni. They are making many comments against the removal of the gloves on social media.

One fan wrote: “Salute & respect to MS Dhoni who printed”. Another fan wrote: “This man shows his love for the nation army”.

Fawad Chaudhry Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Science and Technology fired out on MS Dhoni for wearing the army symbolic gloves.

“Dhoni is in England to play cricket not to for Mahabharata, what an idiotic debate in Indian Media, a section of Indian media is so obsessed with War they should be sent to Syria, Afghanistan or Rwandan as mercenaries,” Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.

This incident has lead to a twitter war between the Indian Cricket fans and others. And the fans started a social moment with #DhoniKeepTheGlove which has over 100K plus tweets.
