MS Dhoni Stars In New Commercial Ad As IPL Returns Home: Since the introduction of the T20 league in India, former Indian legendary player MS Dhoni has become one of the standard-bearers of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Also with the IPL 2022 edition scheduled to begin the last week of this month, broadcasters and the BCCI are keeping no question unanswered in their efforts to generate excitement for the world’s largest T20 competition.

The IPL has returned to its regular summer timeframe, with an innovative title sponsor and the inclusion of 2 additional franchises, and the media have once again engaged MS Dhoni to kick off the advertising promotions for this year.

Every episode of the IPL has featured memorable moments of excitement and excellence throughout the years, and it has established a reputation for producing spectacular and elevated cricketing exploits.

The competition has a history of producing outrageous, incredible, and remarkable cricketing events, to the stage that spectators have got to expect such excitement from the IPL on a continuous basis.

Star Sports, the authorized broadcaster of the IPL, has unveiled a #YehAbNormalHai campaign highlighting the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper to welcome all the anticipation and the homecoming of the cash-rich competition to Indian shores.

MS Dhoni’s New Look for Ad Campaign IPL 2022 Goes Viral

The ad shows the defending champions CSK skipper, Dhoni, in a brand-new outfit to honor the IPL’s summer. The advertising film, features MS Dhoni as a bus driver who has pulled over in the midst of a crowded roadway.

When traffic police come on the scene and enquiring about Dhoni’s behavior, he is told that they are viewing the Super Over of an exciting IPL match. The traffic cop dismisses this as a common incident during the IPL and turns away, repeating that this type of excitement is common during IPL.

Star Sports will broadcast the commercial ad in 7 languages, comprising Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Gujarati, in recognition of the prominence of the Tata IPL and the outpouring of support from fans to MS Dhoni’s new appearance at the preview launch. On March 26, 2022, the Tata IPL 2022 will commence.

The ten clubs will be split into 2 groups and will perform a total of 14 league games (7 at home & 7 away), for a total of 70 league games, before moving on to the playoffs & then finals.
