MS Dhoni Is Fully Fit And Can Stay With CSK For More 1 Or 2 Years: Kasi Viswanathan

MS Dhoni, the former Indian captain, has been a prominent member of Chennai Super Kings from the league’s beginning. He has been the captain of the team from the beginning of the IPL and maintains to do so now. His reputation and influence among the yellow army are at an all-time high. Unfortunately, with age not on his side, it is unclear how long he will be able to keep going. Let’s look at Will Ms Dhoni Play IPL 2022?

It should be mentioned that Dhoni was questioned if this was his final season with CSK when he was spotted in IPL 2020. All of his intentions to leave CSK were put on hold after his “definitely not.” In a recent turn of events, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed the same, stating that MSD can stay with CSK for another 1-2 years.

The 40-year-old went on to say that, no cause to retire and that he is just benefiting the club. It should be remembered that, under MSD’s leadership, CSK has won three IPL titles and reached the finals in every season prior to the 2020 season. CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs in the 2020 IPL for the first time, and the captain’s batting form was also called into question.

“He can continue for another one or two years with CSK. He is fully fit, trains a lot. Don’t see any reason why he should stop. As far we are concerned, we are happy with what he is doing for CSK. It is not just about his captaincy or the fact that he is the guide or a leader as the most experienced player. We feel he is still good and brings value as a player to the side. He has been a finisher and is doing that for us,” Said Viswanathan in an Interview.

MS Dhoni will be seen again on leading CSK for the second phase of IPL 2021, which will begin in September.
