Webb, however left the crease after scoring 29, but Sophie the skipper remained their till the very hand to led her side to the victory.

This victory was important for the Melbourne side, who already lost 6 out 8 games in the tournament so far.

With this win, Melbourne now moved to seventh spot at the points table. While Sydney slipped to the last position.
