Moeen Ali Says Test Retirement Due To Extreme Criticism

All-rounder of England, Moeen Ali said on his self-imposed Test retirement that the extreme criticism of his performance every time was encouraged him to do so.

The spin bowler of England declared a break from test cricket in September after losing the test match on a central agreement for the longest format for the 2019-20 season.

In a British media conference call, Moeen Ali said “Of course, I didn’t fall in love with the longer format Test Cricket. You come into a contradictory attitude, a contradictory space.”

“ Continuously you are getting the responsibility for everything and everyone surrounds you is looking at you only.” Said Moeen Ali, who has played the last of his 60 Test matches in 2019’s Ashes series opener against Australia team.

He added “Definitely, I felt like, when I was playing test cricket, that in case we lost the match and were 54 all out or 82 all out, then it was my responsibility that lost the match or was highlighted more.”

“ Always it was my fault with the bat. And I have to face it.” Moeen Ali is in a superior perspective now and he is prepared to play any format of cricket.” especially after being hungry for activities due to coronavirus lockdown.

Further, the left-hand batsman said, “In case I got the call tomorrow to play for the England team, for sure I would ready to play.”

“ It is regarding just forgetting all the past things and having a fresh, new beginning. I wish that is the thing that has happened a year ago, it has placed me in a better condition.”

“ It is about going past to full fundamentals and playing just like I am a kid again. I have just enjoyed my cricket and not think too much about what people say about me anymore.”
