India vs Pakistan Test: The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is considering into the chance of hosting a Test match between the India and Pakistan as bilateral cricket between the two neighbours has been suspended, the neighbours India and Pakistan have not faced off in the game’s longest format since 2007.
The two nations have only faced off against one another at the 20 and 50-over World Cups and the Asia Cup since India hosted Pakistan in a bilateral limited overs series in 2013.
The last time they squared off against each other was at the Twenty20 World Cup in October, where more than 90,000 spectators jammed into the Melbourne Cricket Ground to watch India triumph in a nail-biting final ball contest.

Even though the matches between India and Pakistan’s teams are so thrilling that it is impossible to predict the winner until the very last over, the cricket fans’ spirits are always on the seventh sky whenever these two teams compete.
When these teams last faced off, it was a thrilling game in which the outcome wasn’t known until all 40 overs had been played.

With the equation at 28 off 8 and the ball in the expert Haris Rauf’s hands, Kohli smashed two consecutive sixes to make the calculation more manageable.

The onus then shifted to Pakistan as spinner Nawaz had to bowl the final over while defending 16 runs.
However, Nawaz had a strategy in mind, so he dismissed Pandya on the first ball.
Karthik then entered the crease and hit a single. While attempting to drive, Kohli collected two balls off of the third and struck a six on the fourth, which was a no-ball.
When the situation changed to 6 off 3, Nawaz bowled a wide under pressure, and then Kohli and DK both ran for 3 for byes, with India almost won the match, DK missed the slog sweep and was out.
India still needed 2 in 1 ball, and Ravichandran Ashwin cleverly left the ball for a wide and then shot a four off the final ball to help India start their World Cup campaign with a win.
