ABOUT THE MATCH
The two early pace-setters in the 2019 Karnataka Premier League meet in the final game of the first phase of fixtures at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, on August 23.
Both Shivamogga Lions and Bellary Tuskers have won three games apiece, though the Lions go into this game still undefeated. The Tuskers, on the other hand, lost for the first time last time out.
It means the Tuskers need a win to get back on track, with a strong team – and IPL quality in the form of Krishnappa Gowtham and Prasidh Krishna. The Lions, however, have a big chance to pull clear at the top and have been in good batting form so far this season.
