The third week of Women’s Big Bash League action kicks off at the WACA, Perth, as Perth Scorchers take on Melbourne Renegades. The match takes place on November 1.

Having beaten the Scorchers in their previous meeting when Danni Wyatt top scored, as the Renegades chased 133 to win by four wickets Melbourne Renegades have two wins and two defeats to their name so far.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS
Showers are forecast all day in Perth, although the chance of rain is given at 32 percent in the late afternoon so there is a chance it may clear for the game. With winds around 21mph and overcast conditions, this is a day for the swing bowlers.
The WACA Ground is well known for its fast, super-bouncy wickets. With the wind conditions too, it makes it an excellent place for bowling but combines the pace of the pitch with a fast outfield, and it can also suit quick scoring.

- Melbourne Renegades bounced back from an opening defeat to Adelaide Strikers by beating the same opponents in their second game and then the Perth Scorchers.
- They could not make it three wins in a row last time out, however chasing 133 to win after Sophie Molineux and Maitlan Brown each claimed three wickets, the Renegades came up just short on 129/8.
- Jess Duffin hit 69 from 56 balls bit was caught off the final ball.
