Washington Freedom’s All-round Effort
Although no batter from the Washington Freedom went on to cross a half-century mark, Washington Freedom went on to chase the target of 213 easily. Mitchell Owen & Rachin Ravindra started off the innings with a decent 43 and 18 respectively.
After their dismissals, Andries Gous and skipper Glenn Maxwell, then went on to score 31 and 42 respectively, which gave them a stability in mid-innings. In the latter part of the innings, Glenn Phillips & Obus Pienaar with a 33* and 23* went on to clinch the match with just a run.
