The Legends Cricket League 2022 is slated to start on 20th January at the Oman Cricket Stadium, with many big names officially confirming their inclusion in the competition, which will be battled among 3 elite teams and 2 of which will be representing Asia and India. Unfortunately, the competition will not include Indian Icon Sachin Tendulkar, who was a massive draw in the competition’s inaugural edition last year in Ranchi. Despite the fact that Tendulkar’s name appeared in the event advertising, however, the master blaster stated via his management company that he will not be participating this year.

According to Ravi Shastri, Commissioner of Howzat Legends League Cricket, “Truly living up to their names, World Giants will be the team to beat in the championship. It can’t get better than this. When you see top names from the World of Cricket coming together to take on the battle against Asia and India, it would be a treat for the Cricket fans.”
According to Raman Raheja, CEO of Howzat Legends League Cricket, “They are the Giants of World Cricket. The legends from the Rest of the World of Cricket come together to take on the battle. We call them World Giants and they are ready to conquer the field.
“In the sensitive Covid times, we are adding reserve players to the teams. We would soon announce a list of reserve players,” added Raman Raheja.
