Arshdeep Singh was the first player to be auctioned in the IPL 2025 mega auction, securing a deal for Rs 18 crore.  However, Punjab used their Right to Match (RTM) card, forcing SRH to increase the bid to Rs 18 crore. Ultimately, Punjab Kings exercised their RTM option and successfully re-signed Arshdeep for Rs 18 crore.

 Arshdeep Singh, a key strike bowler for team India, has earned a reputation as a white-ball specialist, especially in limited-overs cricket. In 59 international matches, he has taken 95 wickets, proving his consistency and skill on the world stage. Arshdeep Singh returns to Punjab Kings with RTM for INR 18 Crore 

 Arshdeep has a significantly well-established IPL statistics, with 76 wickets in 65 matches since his debut in 2019. His standout performance came in IPL 2024, where he formed a lethal partnership with Harshal Patel, taking 19 wickets in 14 matches. This performance solidified his place among the league’s top pacers. 

 Despite his growing international recognition, Punjab Kings initially decided not to retain him for the IPL 2025 season. However, after a competitive bidding war involving Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and Gujarat Titans, PBKS used their Right-to-Match (RTM) card to bring back Arshdeep for Rs 18 crore, ensuring he remains a key part of their bowling attack.  

Renowned for his deadly yorkers, he excels in high-pressure situations. His reliability, particularly in the death overs, has made him a standout performer in recent IPL seasons. Arshdeep’s remarkable skills have established him as a key asset, and he holds the record for being the fastest to reach 100 wickets in T20 Internationals, showcasing his exceptional talent and potential.
