Apart from Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell are also rested for the T2OIs, both will join the team in ODIs against England.

The selectors have shown faith in Mitchell Marsh and backed him as skipper in both T20I and ODI series. Electrifying batter Jake Fraser McGurk has been selected for both limited-over series as a potential replacement of recently retired Aussie great David Warner.
