Which state has named Rishabh Pant as their brand ambassador?
Destructive wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Uttar Pradesh to promote sports in state.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made the announcement about the same on Sunday. Pant, who recently handled the captaincy hat of India in absence of regular capatain, was born in the Uttarakhand’s Roorkee town in Haridwar district.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said that Pant will encourage the youngsters to take up sports.
“One of the best cricket players of India, the idol of youth and son of Uttarakhand, Rishabh Pant has been appointed as “State Brand Ambassador” by our government with the aim of encouraging the youth of the state towards sports and public health,” tweeted Dhami in Hindi.

Rishabh Pant’s performance in International Cricket
Since his debut, Pant played many memorable knocks that helped the Indian side to secure wins over tough competent.
Whether his nail-biting 89 runs not out knock at Gabba in Australia that made India the winner of test series against Australia in Australia to his most recent century at the English soil.
He is not just limited as a skilled batter and wicket keeper. He has showed his captaincy skills also by captaining IPL’s side. Considering that, many cricket pundits feels that he has all the potential to lead Indian cricket team in coming years.

In the 5th and only test of the series between India and England, Pant steadied India’s ship by playing a magnificent inning of 146 in one-day style as he scored 4 short of 150 in just 111 balls with the help of 20 fours and 4 sixes.
During the second innings of the match, the southpaw again played a modest knock to guide the visitors put a sound score on board. He ended the match as the second-highest run-getter with the best strike among all batters from both teams at 103.05.
While he completed his the ODI series campaign as the highest run-maker with 125 in 2 innings at a strike rate of 105.93.
