After electrifying red-ball clashes in the past few months, the time has come to witness the white-ball action, including a marquee ICC event, Champions Trophy. Let’s know that When will BCCI announce India Champions Trophy squad.
The ICC Champions Trophy is back after a hiatus of eight years and will be hosted by the defending champions Pakistan. However, as Team India will not travel to Pakistan due to security reasons, all of India’s matches whether group stage or knockouts (if qualify) will be staged in Dubai.
Team India will enter the competition as being one of the hot favourites to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian squad for the mega event is yet to be announced though.

With 12 January being the deadline for all the teams to announce their squads. Team India’s squad for the Champions Trophy is expected to be out on January 11.
Despite being an average 2024 with the bat for Virat Kohli, the experienced campaigner will remain the star attraction in the event. While India’s current ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma is likely to lead the side.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who tasted success in T20Is and Test cricket, may receive a chance to be included in the squad alongside Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill as openers.
Clutch player Hardik Pandya will be seen in the action. Nitish Kumar Reddy can also find a place as a backup medium-pace all-rounder. Mohammed Sham’s inclusion will be subject to his fitness.

Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami (subject to fitness)/Harshit Rana, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh.
The Indian Team will start their campaign against Bangladesh on 20 February 2025, followed by the mega clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on February 23, and their final group stage will be against New Zealand which will be played on March 2. All of India’s games will take place at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
