Both Roy and Pooran recorded 73 off 37 for the second wicket. Roy did his job perfectly and scored a solid knock of 64 in only 34 deliveries before leaving the middle. While Nicholas Pooran remained tall in the run-chase and guided his side to a dominating victory with his not out 93 off 43.

With this win, Trinbago Knight Riders matched the points (10) with second and third placed sides, they are on fourth due to less net run-rate than those two, but they still have three more games yet to play in the league stage, which will provide them a chance to finish inside top-2.
