The International Cricket Council has revealed the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023 at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday. According to the schedule, the competition will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The matches will be contested at ten different locations, with the final taking place on November 19 in Ahmedabad. The semifinals will take place on November 15 and 16 in Mumbai and Kolkata.
The 2023 World Cup kicks off with a rematch between the 2019 finalists, New Zealand and England, while India begins its campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai
The India vs. Pakistan match, undoubtedly the most important in the competition, has been planned for October 15 in Ahmedabad.
Another significant game that every Indian is looking forward to is India’s rematch of their 2019 World Cup semi-final loss to New Zealand on October 22 at the scenic Dharamsala.

The mega event will include a total of ten teams. Eight teams have already qualified for the Cricket World Cup Super League, with two more to be determined. The final two berths will be determined at the conclusion of the Qualifier competition in Zimbabwe on July 9.
In the main round, each team competes against the other nine teams in a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
