Team India Schedule in 2025
The year 2024 had its ups and downs for Team India, and fans hope that the year 2025 will bring better results for the men’s cricket team. The team ended the year with a disastrous ending at the MCG in the Boxing Day Test against Australia. Team India’s Performance in 2024
India’s 2024 cricket season ended in a lower state as they lost a heavy 184-run defeat against Australia in the 4th test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Although India won the T20 World Cup in the West Indies, they faced major setbacks, including a series loss to Sri Lanka in ODIs and a disappointing home Test series defeat to New Zealand.
In the 15 Test matches played by India in 2024, they managed eight wins, six losses, and one draw. They only played one ODI series in 2024, which they lost to Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma and his team will need to reconsider and evaluate their playing style as the new calendar schedule approaches.
The Year Both Team and Fans Are Excited For
As team India enters 2025, their first challenge will be the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney, where they must win to stay in the World Test Championship race. A draw or loss would mean they are out.
After which India’s focus shifts to the Champions Trophy in Dubai, beginning February 20 against Bangladesh. But, before that, India will play five T20Is and three ODIs against England starting January 22. Later in 2025, India will travel to England for a five-match Test series, which starts the new cycle of the World Test Championship.
