India posted nine totals over 200, setting the highest number by any team in a single year. Additionally, they recorded seven individual centuries, the most by any team in a year. They hit 236 sixes, ranking second for most in a year, and recorded two team totals above 250, a joint record. This dominance was achieved under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, who led a new generation of players following the retirements of veteran players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Varma and Chakravarthy Lead the year 2025
Team India is in brilliant form in T20I cricket for 2025, dominating the ongoing series against England with a 2-0 lead.
