Following their stellar performances, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna have soared to new heights in the ICC Men’s Test Bowler Rankings. Siraj, with his series-defining 23 wickets, vaulted 12 places to secure the 15th spot, marking a career-best ranking. Prasidh, riding on his eight-wicket heroics in the fifth Test, made an impressive leap of 25 spots to claim the 59th position, a testament to his rapid rise.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah, India’s pace spearhead, retained his number one position with 889 rating points despite playing only three Tests due to workload management. On the batting front, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s sparkling century at The Oval propelled him three places to a career-high fifth in the ICC Men’s Test Batter Rankings with 792 points.
While Joe Root and Harry Brook held the top two batting spots, Rishabh Pant, the only other Indian batter in the top 10, slipped to eighth after missing the final Test due to injury.
