What Went Wrong for Afghanistan

The lack of a good total on the board was certainly a huge mistake for them. Usually, they scored runs first, and with the help of key bowlers they used to restrict teams, but here the case was completely different. Afghanistan batters were unable to score runs and with less target on the board, it was quite a mountain to climb for the Afghanistan bowlers in order to restrict South Africa from chasing a very low score of 56.

Conclusion: South Africa beat Afghanistan by 9 wickets

Afghanistan have some wonderful cricket throughout the tournament and they can be proud of themself for reaching the semifinals of the ICC tournament. South Africa on the other hand will be waiting for their opponents in the finals where they will take on the winner of the IND vs ENG semifinal 2 game.
