This year’s IPL 2025 mega auction saw all franchises entering the fight with a total spending capacity of 641.5 Crores. Notably, Punjab Kings entered with the highest budget, boasting a purse limit of 110.5 Crores.

During the IPL 2025 mega auction, all franchises collectively spent ₹467.95 crore. Now let’s have a look at the remaining purse of all franchises after day 1 of the IPL 2025 auction.

1. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (30.65 Cr)

By the end of Day 1, they have a substantial remaining purse. They spent ₹89.35 crore to purchase 9 players and currently have ₹30.65 crore left.

2. Mumbai Indians (26.10 Cr)

The five-time IPL title winners spent ₹93.90 crore during the auction. They retained 5 players before the IPL 2025 mega auction and added 9 new players, leaving them with ₹26.10 crore.

3. Punjab Kings (22.50 Cr)

Entering the IPL 2025 mega auction with the highest purse of ₹110.5 crore, they bid on top stars like Shreyas Iyer, Arshdeep Singh, and Yuzvendra Chahal. After retaining and purchasing 12 players, they have ₹22.50 crore remaining after Day 1.

4. Gujarat Titans(17.50 Cr)

They acquired 14 players by the end of Day 1, spending ₹102.50 crore. They have ₹17.50 crore left, with their highest-paid player being Rashid Khan, retained for ₹18 crore ahead of the IPL mega auction.

5. Rajasthan Royals (17.35 Cr)

They used their maximum purse on Day 1, spending ₹102.65 crore to acquire 11 players. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson are the highest-paid players in their franchise. By the end of Day 1, they have ₹17.35 crore remaining.

6. Chennai Super Kings (15.60 CR)

This five-time title winner purchased 12 players by the end of Day 1. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja are the most expensive players in the franchise, both being retained for ₹18 crore. They have ₹15.60 crore left after Day 1 of the auction.

7. Lucknow Super Giants (14.85 Cr)

They utilized their maximum purse on Day One of the auction and have 14.85 Cr remaining. So far, they have purchased 12 players, spending a total of 105.15 Cr. Their highest bid in the IPL, and the most expensive purchase so far, was for Rishabh Pant at 27 Cr.

8. Delhi Capitals (13.80 Cr)

Their most expensive purchase this season is Axar Patel, whom they retained for 16.50 Cr. In total, they have spent 106.20 Cr in the auction, including retentions, and now have 13.80 Cr remaining after Day One of the auction. They have purchased 13 players so far.

9. Kolkata Knight Riders (10.05 Cr)

By the end of Day One of the mega auction, they retained and purchased 13 players, spending a total of 109.95 Cr. They have 10.05 Cr remaining. Their top buy is Venkatesh Iyer, for whom they paid 23.75 Cr.

10. Sunrisers Hyderabad (5.15 Cr)

They spent the maximum purse on Day One of the IPL auction, acquiring Mohammed Shami for 10 Cr and Ishan Kishan for 11.25 Cr. Their most expensive player is Heinrich Klaasen, worth 23 Cr. After purchasing 13 players, they are left with only 5.15 Cr in their remaining purse.
