Punjab Bowlers Failed to Finish Early on
Even though Punjab bowlers did well in the form of Harshal Patel and Arshdeep Singh who both picked up two wickets each. However, Rahul Chahar, Harpreet Brar, and Rabada all three picked up one wicket each. All this was not enough to restrict Delhi to a below-par score.
However, they can feel confident to chase down this target with the star power in their batting order.

Punjab Kings on the Chase
Shikhar Dhawan the Punjab skipper started off the proceeding in an aggressive mode where he struck four boundaries early on in the innings. However, this stint came to an end when he was dismissed by Ishant Sharma for 22. Prabhsimran Singh also played a crucial cameo of 26 runs from 17 balls.
But at the it was Sam Curran and Livingstone who stole the show for Punjab Kings at the end. Sam Curran played a brillant role in carrying Punjab Kings near to victory. Curran scored 63 off 47 balls, with 6 boundries and one six.
Livingstone also played his part with 38 of 21 balls. Punjab now have started the IPL2024 in style and its a big win by 4 wickets
