After claiming a success in the first test by defeating Pakistan in Rawalpindi, Bangladesh continued their winning momentum and secured second straight win against their Asian rivals.
Batting first, Pakistani batters once again found it tough to convert their start, and only manage to post 274 on board in first innings despite three half-century knocks.
Bangladesh had a horrific start, as they lost six on 26 during their first innings, but made a solid comeback, thanks to a 165-run stand between Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Mehidy Hasan went back to pavilion after scoring 78, while Litton Das stayed at the crease for a long time and hit his fourth test century in the process. His 138-run knock propelled Bangladesh to 262 in first innings.
Bangladesh’s dominance in Pakistan
Similar to first test, Bangladesh’s bowlers restricted the Pakistani batters to a low score and shattered their hopes to set a big target.
