PAK vs BAN 2nd Test Day 3 Update: Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s excellent knocks on day 3 of the second test shattered Pakistan hopes of claiming big lead after dismissing first six batters for 26.  

The hosts failed to grab the benefit of early success in the game, and let Bangladesh keep themselves back, as a result the Bangla Tigers not only steadied their ship after early setbacks but reached near to Pakistan’s total.  

With the nervous time of 15-20 minutes remained to play before stumps on day 3, the tourists took the benefit of the situation and left Pakistan in trouble 9 for 2 at stumps.

Litton Das continues his batting brilliance in Pakistan

Bangladesh’s wicketkeeper batter Litton Das has continued his good run in Pakistan and stuck a ton on occasion when it needed the most.  

After winning the first test, Bangladesh aiming to put the hosts under pressure again, but Pakistan trick to pick Mir Hamza and Khurram Shahzad in place of Shaheen Shah Afridi somewhat worked for the home side, as the visitors lost six of their main batters at the score of only 26.  

Then came in Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz at crease and build a 165-run partnership to bring Bangladesh back into the game.  

Mehidy Hasan went back to pavilion after playing a match saving knock of 78, while Litton Das stayed at the crease for long and struck his fourth test hundred in the process. Das knock of 138 guided the visitors to 262 in the first innings.  

Khurram Shahzad played a key role in helping Pakistan grab wickets at intervals and delivered a spell of 21-3-90-6. Mir Hamza and Agha Salman shared 2-2 wickets each.

Earlier, Pakistan posted 274 in first innings, despite crossing the fifty-run marks, three of Pakistan’s batters Saim Ayub (58), captain Shan Masood (57), Agha Salman (54) failed to convert their start to big knocks.  

Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked a fifer for Bangladesh with ball and later showed his batting prowess in Bangladesh’s first innings.
