Myanmar Women started their Innings with their Opener Thae Aung going out for a duck in the opening over, after this dismissal the innings were stabilized by Zon Lin and May San who bundled a good strong partnership in the next coming overs. Bhutan Bowlers capitalized in the coming overs, M San, Z Lin, and T Soe avoided giving away further runs. Bhutan’s Zangmo had the best bowling performance with 3 wickets and an economy of 21 runs in 4 wickets. At the end of the 1st innings, Myanmar was short of 8 wickets and scored a total of 103 runs with Myat giving her best batting performance in the innings.  

Bhutan’s Commendable Efforts

Bhutan Women had their eyes set on the win from the toss, from making a calculated toss decision to putting in a good bowling effort to keep pressure on the Myanmar batters. However, Myanmar has been performing well in this series, they bundled up the Bhutan Batters at 78 before the 19th over.

Bhutan’s innings started with a quick duck, and the misery continued until Sonam Choden put in a respectable figure on the scoreboard of 20 runs. Myanmar’s Zar Lin Win had the best bowling performance with 3 wickets in 4 overs and at an economy of 22, she was leading the bowling lineup.
