Kuwait Kerala PL T20 Schedule
The stage is set for the yet another exciting T20 contest, as the Kuwait Kerala PL T20 is about to begin on Monday.
The Kuwait Kerala Premier League T20 will consist of 46 matches, beginning from July 24and concluding on September 01. There will be as many as twelve teams participating in this 40-day long tournament.
Each team will play the other team in their group in a round-robin format. The top three teams then qualify for the Super Six stage and the two teams among them will then advance to the finals.
How many teams are participating in Kuwait Kerala Premier League T20?
12 teams including Al Mulla Exchange Thrissur Lions, Alleppey United, Arabian Eagles Kozhikode, Cochin Hurricanes, Freedom Fighters Cochin, Kannur Blue Dragons, KRM Panthers, Royal Changanassery, RSG Kadathanadan, Saipem Calicut, Thrissur Strikers and Travancore Tridents are taking part in this competition.
The total number of teams then split into two groups Alleppey United, Cochin Hurricanes, Freedom Fighters Cochin, RSG Kadathanadan, Saipem Calicut and Thrissur Strikers are part of one A Group., while Al Mulla Exchange Thrissur Lions, Arabian Eagles Kozhikode, Kannur Blue Dragons, KRM Panthers, Royal Changanassery and Travancore Tridents will be in Group B.
What is the format of Kuwait Kerala PL T20?
The Kuwait Kerala PL T20 will be played in a round-robin format, where each team will play other for once in the league. The top-three teams from each after the group stage will make their way to the Supe Six round of the tournament.
The teams will then play 15 games and the top two after the Super Stage’s 15 games will book their berth for the finals on September 01.
