William Bosisto, coming off from his strong performance in the Nepal Premier League, impressed in his debut BPL match with a solid 75-run, not-out performance. His aggressive batting helped the Tigers set a strong challenging total.
Bosisto reached fifty in just 36 balls, smashing 3 sixes and 8 fours. Alongside Mahidul Islam Ankon, who scored 59 from 22 balls with 6 sixes and 1 four, they formed a powerful 86-run partnership from just 35 balls. Despite the Tigers being 117/4 in the 14th over which was after Afif Hossain’s dismissal, the late efforts from the duo sailed through the Kings, leaving them unable to recover from the 200-run target.

Commendable Efforts from Shamim Hossain
Shamim Hossain performed a strong knock for the Kings, scoring 78 runs off 38 balls, providing the Kings a glimpse of hope in their chase of 204 runs. He was particularly aggressive against Nasum Ahmed, hitting 21 runs in one over, including two fours and two sixes.
However, his efforts went in vain, as they couldn’t recover from the earlier batting collapse. After Hossain was dismissed on the first ball of the 19th over by Hider, the Kings’ hopes totally disappeared. Abu Hider was the top bowler with 4 wickets apart from the Tigers bowlers, including Oshane Thomas, Hasan Mahmud, Nasum Ahmed, and captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who kept the pressure on, with Hider claiming the final wicket to seal a 37-run victory.
