‘It’s Like A Fantasy For Me’– Jemimah Rodrigues:
MS Dhoni is one of World cricket’s most successful captains. What Dhoni accomplished during his time as captain is amazing and incomparable! He is the first captain to win all three ICC competitions-World Cup T20, World Cup 50-over and Champions Trophy.
But the former Indian captain essentially won first and first ICC accolade. Besides that, many players have admired his calming influence on a squad and their teams, helping to bring out the best of them.
And it goes without saying that Jemimah Rodrigues, a young Indian cricketer, admires him a great deal. Jemimah is one of the Indian women’s team’s main players, and has inspired us with her batting abilities and cemented her team place. Besides this, the 19-year-old is still really popular on social media.
I Don’t Know If It’s Possible Or Not:
She has been questioned in a recent live Instagram session with cricket host Ridhima Pathak if she should play under a male coach, who will be that. Rodrigues has selected MS Dhoni as the male captain she wishes to serve for.
She admitted she grew up watching him and his success as the leader was the reason she wants to play on his band. She has also claimed that playing under MS Dhoni is her dream.
“Nothing except MS Dhoni. You’ve grown up watching him in the World Cups and everything he achieved, capturing the two World Cups. We saw so many in interviews and so many people are claiming they never saw a captain like MS Dhoni.
So, it’s just like a dream that I would be able to play under him one day, but I don’t know if this is likely, “Jemimah said.
In 2018 Rodrigues made her international debut and has been a frequent member of the national team ever since. He’s recorded 372 runs with three-fifties in 18 ODIs. She scored 930 runs in 44 T20Is at an average of 26.57, and 111.24 strike-rate.
