India vs Australia 2nd Match Highlights: It’s been a fantastic Test match, but it was another three-day Test and Australia once again lost the plot mentally rather than physically, as India defeated Australia by six wickets to go up 2-0 in the test series that consists of four games.
At the conclusion of yesterday’s play, Australia was ahead thanks to a strong second-innings start from Travis Head. As the first spinner to accomplish this feat in over 21 years, Jadeja’s five out of seven wickets were bowled dismissals, setting a record unto itself.
Early in the session, Ashwin got a wicket, reducing Australia to 65/2. The partnership of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne then advanced the innings, scoring 20 more runs until Ashwin dismissed Smith for only nine. In just 19 overs, Australia’s score reached 85/3.

Todd Murphy refused to allow the Delhi crowd’s hometown hero to bat until the end of the game so that India would win. The spinner misfired a flighted ball outside the off stump in the 18th over of India’s chase, confusing the former Indian captain.
In an attempt to avoid the turn, Kohli moved a short distance down the wicket, but he was caught on the outside edge. Collecting the ball and removing the bails was a flawless move by Alex Carey.

Ravindra Jadeja receives the man of the match award for his 10 wickets in this test match and also for his dream spell of 7/42 in 12 overs was the gaming-changing spell for Indians. Jadeja was at his best as he was bowling wicket to wicket and giving trouble to the Ausisi batsman, which eventually gave him the wickets and gave India the much-needed victory against Australia.

After successfully retaining the Border Gavaskar Trophy, India will continue to play the four-match test series. With India having the leading of 2-0 they will go into the third test match on March 1st at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. If India wins this third test match they will win the series with one game remaining.
