The all-rounders, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Kumar Reddy and India’s vice-captain in this series, Axar Patel, form the backbone of lower middle order. Pandya, being a power hitter, can change the game at any point with his bat and also delivers with the ball. 

Newcomer Nitish Kumar Reddy also showed glimpse of his skills whenever he got the chance with both bat and ball. While Axar Patel’s left-arm spin and batting versatility adds depth to the batting lineup. 

Bowlers: Varun Chakaravarthy, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh 

In the bowling department, Varun Chakaravarthy leads the spin attack. His ability to pick up wickets in the middle overs is crucial for breaking partnerships. The pace duo of Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh forms a formidable combination. Shami’s swing and toe crushing yorkers, and Arshdeep’s death overs expertise make them a balanced and effective unit.
