India Batting Line-Up Confusion

India Batting Line-Up Confusion: With only 3 days left for India’s first game in the ninth edition of ICC T20 World Cup, there is still doubt about Indian batting lineup.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s was included in India’s squad, and everyone thought that it will be Rohit and Yashasvi to open for India in the marquee event.

But the lone warm up game against Bangladesh, which India won by 60 runs, has raised a lot of questions about team India’s strategy.

Rohit Sharma came into bat alongside Sanju Samson in the warmup game, Samson once again failed to make the moment big for himself and got out for 1.

The other wicketkeeper batter in the squad, Rishabh Pant, entered the field at number 3 and played a solid knock of 32-ball 53.

Suryakumar Yadav was also seen in good touch during his 31. While the biggest highlight of India’s batting was the performance of Hardik Pandya.

The Indian vice-captain, who had remained completely out of touch in the recently completed Indian Premier League (IPL), showed sign of being in form with his 23-ball 40* knock.

India posted 182 in their 20 overs quota. 7 batters came into bat, but not Jaiswal, which is a sign that he might not play in the league games too. And in that case, Virat Kohli, who performed well while opening in IPL 2024 and won orange cap for scoring the most runs, is likely to open alongside skipper Rohit Sharma.
