But Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya played a huge role in guiding India to solid position, as his responsible 32 off 24 soaked all pressure from Surya’s shoulders, who remained the highest run-scorer for India in this game with a 28-ball 53.
Fazalhaq Farooqi again grabbed 3 important wickets for Afghanistan to retain his top spot of most wickets in the tournament. While skipper Rashid Khan bowled the most economical spell with a 4-0-26-3.
