The ICC has unveiled its Player of the Month nominees for March 2025, highlighting the standout performers from the men’s and women’s game. Among the men, two ICC Champions Trophy 2025 finalists and one Champions Trophy winner contend. Here’s a look at ICC Player of the month nominees for March 2025. 

Men’s Nominees for March Player of the Month 2025

Jacob Duffy (New Zealand)

Jacob Duffy’s strong stats in March saw him dominate Pakistan in a 4-1 T20I series win at home. The 30-year-old pacer snared 13 wickets at an average of 8.38, with career-best figures of 4/14 in Christchurch and 4/20 in Mount Maunganui. His economy rate of 6.17 and two wickets in the first ODI capped a 15-wicket haul across six games, sending him to the No. 1 spot in the ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings.

Shreyas Iyer (India)

Shreyas Iyer was the backbone of India’s middle order during their unbeaten ICC Champions Trophy 2025 run. Scoring 172 runs in three ODIs at an average of 57.33, Iyer’s highlights included a top score of 79 against New Zealand, a gritty 45 in the semi-final against Australia, and a composed 48 in the final against New Zealand.

Rachin Ravindra (New Zealand)

Rachin Ravindra’s all-round brilliance guided New Zealand to the Champions Trophy final. In three ODIs, he scored 151 runs at an average of 50.33, including a match-defining 108 in the semi-final against South Africa. His strike rate of 106.33 and three wickets at an economy of 4.66 underscored his versatility and impact. Although he performed significantly, New Zealand lost in the final against India. 

Women’s Nominees for March Player of the Month 2025

Chetnaa Prasad (USA)

At just 19, Chetnaa Prasad dazzled in the Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier. Taking nine wickets in three matches at an average of 2.22, her standout spells included 4/8 against Brazil and 4/5 against Canada, securing USA’s spot in the Global Qualifier.

Annabel Sutherland (Australia)

Fresh off a December 2024 award, Annabel Sutherland shone against New Zealand, claiming eight wickets including back-to-back four-wicket hauls 4/8 her best and scoring 34 runs. Her all-round heroics bolstered Australia’s dominance.

Georgia Voll (Australia)

Debuting in December 2024, 21-year-old Georgia Voll notched 161 runs in a 3-0 T20I sweep of New Zealand. Her scores of 50, 36, and a career-high 75 showcased her flair alongside Beth Mooney.
