#Mohammed Siraj (India)
Mohammed Siraj had given possibly his greatest red-ball performance in the fifth test against England. India were on the verge of losing the series 2-1, and they went into the last day of the test to defend their target. Siraj who bowled 30 overs, managed to claim a fifer at an economy of 3.45.
His performance was a testament in leveling the series, and showcasing the undying spirit Indian cricket team has.
#Matt Henry (New Zealand)
While New Zealand were not involved in a top-tier series in the month of August, they had been engaged in a test series against Zimbabwe. And Matt Henry was the star of the tests. With his monstrous 16 wickets in the 2 matches played, New Zealand managed to grab a 2-0 clean sweep of the series.
This performance from Matt Henry helped New Zealand into maintaining their red-ball performances in-order to stay in contention for the WTC title.
#Jayden Seales (West Indies)
West Indies have been involved in an ODI series with Pakistan in the month of August. Seales helped West Indies claim a win over Pakistan in the ODI series after a long wait of 34 years. Seales took 10 wickets in his 3 matches played, and also managed to average an economy rate of just 4.10.
With the list being completed with these monumental achievements of these players, some players however miss out. Players like, Dewald Brevis who had a great start to his national career, Mitchell Marsh, and Mohammed Nawaz.
