The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the first-ever ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy T20I, marking a major step in its global strategy to expand women’s cricket. The tournament will run from November 20 to November 30, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Eight nations will take part in the inaugural edition, competing across two premier venues — Terdthai Cricket Ground and the Asian Institute of Technology.

As part of the ICC’s efforts to promote the sport, Women’s Cricket Week saw more than 40 countries conducting events aimed at driving visibility and empowering women in cricket.

Building on this momentum, the ICC is introducing new development pathways to fast-track the growth of emerging nations.

The Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy is part of a three-tier global pathway designed to strengthen competitiveness and provide high-performance exposure.
