ICC Considers UAE Relocation as Pakistan Delays
The hosting of the major tournament in Pakistan faces uncertainties as venues in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore fall behind schedule. Despite a deadline of December 31, key infrastructure like enclosures and floodlights remains unfinished.
Due to these delays, the ICC is considering relocating the tournament to the UAE. With just 42 days left, the PCB is under pressure to meet ICC standards, and an upcoming inspection will determine if preparations can be completed or if the backup plan will be enacted.
