Barbados Royals Falter as Batting Lineup Struggles Against Warrior Attack
The Guyana Amazon Warriors bowlers demonstrated complete domination with the ball. Romario Shepherd and Moeen Ali showed their bowling powers by providing crucial breakthroughs for the team.
Romario Shepherd took 3 wickets for 35 runs, while Moeen Ali secured 2 for 24 runs. Additionally, other bowlers Gudakesh Motie, Dwaine Pretorius, and Imran Tahir claimed one wicket each.
Barbados Royals struggled at the start of their batting innings after inviting to bat first. They lost their first wicket with only 16 runs on the board, and the second wicket fell at 36 runs in just 4.5 overs. Their batting lineup faced further difficulties, with nine batters failing to score more than 20 runs and three of them getting out for a duck.

Despite the challenges, David Miller and Alick Athanaze played crucial innings for the Barbados Royals. David Miller scored 36 runs off 26 balls, while Alick Athanaze contributed 26 runs from 24 balls this performance led Barbados Royals to score 148-10 in 20 overs.
Shai Hope’s Half-Century and Moeen Ali’s Anchor Role Lead to Quick Chase
The Guyana Amazon Warriors put on a dominant display with both bat and ball. After getting a target of 149 runs, the Warriors efficiently chased it down in just 14.3 overs, showcasing their strong batting lineup.
The opening pair of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and player of the match Moeen Ali provided a solid start, forming a 54-run partnership in just 4.5 overs. Gurbaz played a brilliant innings, scoring 40 runs off 18 balls before being dismissed. Following his departure, Shai Hope took over and played an aggressive innings, contributing 56 runs off 33 balls. However, it was Moeen Ali who anchored the innings with an unbeaten 44 runs off 35 balls, guiding the Guyana Amazon Warriors to victory.
The bowling unit of Barbados Royals had a disappointing performance, with their bowlers failing to make an impact. They only managed to take two wickets, with Maheesh Theekshana and Ramon Simmonds each claiming one wicket.
