Invited to bat, the Amazon Warriors faced a shaky start and failed to rescue during the middle overs as well.

After losing their first wicket on 21, they lost the next six in 55, and with 76 for 7, things seemed out of control for the team.

Romario Shepherd then took the responsibility to take his team forward. Dwaine Pretorius also supported him, as both collected 72 in the next eight overs.

Shepherd’s brilliant 24-ball 51 not out, and Pretorious 25 helped the side to reach a decent score of 148 after the end of 20 overs.
