Shubham Gill’s First International Test Hundred
Shubham Gill: The young and upcoming superstar of the Indian cricket team has finally scored his first-ever test hundred in the first Test against Bangladesh

Gill scored his first century in his 12th Test, having made his debut in the longest format in December 2020. This is also Gill’s maiden century after batting in six innings. Who is Shubham Gill?
An opening batsman representing Punjab in local cricket, Shubman Gill represents India at the international level. He served as the India U-19 team’s vice-captain at the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
At end of 2017, he made his List-A debut against Vidharbha and his first-class debut for Punjab against Bengal in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. He scored a half-century in the match and 129 runs in the subsequent match against Services. In January 2019, he made his international debut for the Indian cricket team.
Bangladesh vs India, First Test Match
