The Asian Games is back with its 17th edition, starting September 19th.  

The Asian games women’s cricket schedule is going to be an eight-team competition and a total of 11 matches will be played in the tournament over the course of 6 days.

The Indian team will be playing their first-ever Asian Games event as far as the cricket is concerned. Harmanpreet Singh will be leading the Indian side while Smriti Mandhana is appointed as the vice-captain of India.  

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have already reached the quarter finals due to their rankings.

The two teams among the four then qualify for the quarter finals where they met already in the quarter finals, Indian, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh. The top four teams then play the semis, and a big final will be played between the winners of the semis on September 25.
