Afghanistan Cricket Board Release their statement

The Cricket Board of Afghanistan has released a statement after the third day being called off due to heavy rain. They stated that the board had been allowed three stadiums but due to Indian domestic cricket’s busy schedule, the match was scheduled to be held at Noida. The test matches are planned for every five years and this makes it hard to predict the weather conditions for matches like this.

The heavy schedule of domestic cricket in India and heavy heat conditions in UAE have forced the Afghanistan cricket board to choose Noida as the venue for this only test match. Now fans will have to be part of a waiting game, where hopefully on day 4 the match resumes and we get to see some action.
